Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast alert for 21 districts in Odisha, predicting light to moderate rainfall along with thunderstorms and lightning within the next three hours.
The warning, released at 1:50 PM, indicates that areas including Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Balangir, Sonepur, Jharsuguda, Nayagada, Bhadrak, Nuapada, Bargada, Boudh, Malkangiri, Koraput, Anugola, Kandhamal, Dhenkanal, Jajpur, Kataka, Khordha, Ganjam, and Nabarangapur are expected to experience such weather conditions.
Residents are advised to monitor the weather closely and make necessary preparations to ensure their safety.
