Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning indicating that rain, along with lightning and thunderstorms, is expected to impact at least 13 districts in Odisha, including the city of Bhubaneswar, on Thursday evening.
In a communication released at 4:10 PM, the IMD placed a yellow warning for the districts of Khordha (which encompasses Bhubaneswar), Baleshwar, Kendujhar, Sambalpur, Sundargarh, Puri, Mayurbhanj, Deogarh, Anugul, and Kendrapada for the next three hours. During this time, these areas may experience rain, lightning, and thunderstorms.
Furthermore, the weather agency has issued similar alerts for the districts of Cuttack, Jharsuguda, Bhadrak, and Jagatsinghpur for the same timeframe.
