Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast alert affecting ten districts in Odisha, warning of light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning.
The advisory, released at 10:10 AM on Tuesday, indicates that rain and thunderstorm activity are highly likely in several locations across the districts of Kendujhar, Sundargarh, Nuapada, Angul, Deogarh, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir, Jharsuguda, and Mayurbhanj over the next three hours.
The IMD has urged residents in these regions to stay vigilant, keep track of weather updates, and take appropriate safety measures.
