The remnants of Cyclone Arnab have transformed into a well-defined low-pressure area spanning north Chhattisgarh and neighboring northwest Odisha. Meanwhile, a new low-pressure system emerging from the South Andaman Sea is anticipated to develop into a depression by Saturday, October 31, 2026.
According to the latest weather bulletin from the IMD Regional Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar, released on Friday, October 30, this new weather system is expected to track west-northwest across the southeast Bay of Bengal, ultimately reaching the Andhra Pradesh coastline within the next two days.
