Jharsuguda: Anil Kumar Jain, the General Manager of South Eastern Railway, undertook an extensive review of the Jharsuguda station facilities and yards. His assessment included an examination of operational processes, passenger services, and security measures to ensure high-quality service and safety.
The inspection highlighted the ongoing upgrades at Jharsuguda station, particularly the addition of new train tracks and the expansion of platforms from five to ten. The General Manager assessed safety measures and operational protocols at the Jharsuguda Railway Yard, advising officials on the importance of adhering to strict safety regulations.
During his visit, Jain evaluated the window trailing in the Jharsuguda-Sardega area and engaged in detailed discussions with officials from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL). The dialogue emphasized the need to expedite coal loading to fulfill the increasing demands of power generation facilities. They deliberated on strategic initiatives to optimize the loading process and enhance overall transport capacity, ensuring a reliable supply chain.
In line with the Swachhata Hi Seva Abhiyan initiative, Anil Jain also interacted with students at BNR School in Jharsuguda. The session educated students on the critical aspects of effective waste segregation, collection, and scientific management.
