Odisha cadre IPS officer Gundala Reddy Raghavendra has been acknowledged for his exemplary leadership, effective crime control strategies, and commitment to public service.

Based in Jharsuguda, the ranking reflects contributions to anti-Naxal operations, law enforcement, modernization of policing, and community engagement, among other factors.

Raghavendra, a member of the 2019 IPS batch, previously held roles as the Sub-Divisional Police Officer in Balliguda and as the Superintendent of Police in Nuapada before his current position in Jharsuguda.

The district police have also introduced a QR-code-enabled smart auto tracking system aimed at ensuring the safety of travelers.

Raghavendra’s selection by Fame India-Asia Post considered various aspects including experience, leadership, crime management, public service, police modernization, innovation, and the level of public trust.
