Jharsuguda: The Jharsuguda Police has alerted residents and Ganesh Puja organizers about the illegal collection of donations, known as ‘Chanda’, urging them to facilitate safe and peaceful festivities on September 14, as stated by police officials on Saturday.

In a pre-festival advisory, law enforcement emphasized that soliciting donations unlawfully constitutes a criminal offense. They cautioned against any form of coercion, intimidation, or undue pressure on individuals for contributions towards the celebrations.
