A Jharkhand youth was allegedly murdered and his body dumped on a roadside in Jharsuguda’s Belpahar area. Police have launched an investigation into the case.
Jharsuguda: A shocking incident has come to light in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district as a youth from Jharkhand was allegedly murdered and his body thrown on a road near Muchbahal area of Belpahar police station limits on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Srijan Kumar, a native of Jharkhand.
As per reports, locals noticed the body lying on the roadside and alerted the police about the same.
Following this, a team of Brajarajnagar SDPO, Belpahar police, and scientific team rushed to the spot and began their investigation into the matter.
The police have initiated a probe to determine the cause of murder, the perpetrators and whether there was conspiracy of the crime, sources stated.
It has not been ascertained as to what was the reason behind this barbaric murder.
