Jharsuguda: Rani Hati, the Chairman of Jharsuguda Municipality, has been summoned by Odisha Vigilance as part of an investigation into the suspected misappropriation of Rs 40 lakh in government funds by civic officials during the fiscal years 2023-24 and 2024-25.
A notice from the Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Vigilance Unit in Jharsuguda has instructed Hati to report to the investigating officer at the Vigilance office on September 8 at 10:30 am.
