A 36-year-old man named Md Anish was killed in a shooting incident in the Burla area of Sambalpur district on Saturday.
Initial investigations indicate that the shooting was the result of a personal dispute and ongoing grievances between the parties involved. Authorities have taken into custody the suspect, Raja Swami, from Mangala Bazar in Jharsuguda, who is currently being held at the Burla police station.
The weapon used in the crime has been recovered by law enforcement. Officials have stated that the incident appears to be isolated to a personal conflict, posing no significant risk to public safety.
